Coach McDaniel played Professional Baseball in the Athletics and Royals Organizations for 7 seasons, making the All Star Team 4 times. He was selected MVP of the Southeast League once and Pacific Coast League once. He also has one batting title with a lifetime .343 average, and was stolen base champ 3 times.

Coach McDaniel's coaching resume includes:

• Infield and batting instructor for the A's AAA team in Modesto
• Batting practice and bull pen coach 3 years for the Royals
• Instructor at many College Camps
• High School Coach at Mt. Paran (State Championship) and North Cobb High School
• East Cobb Baseball Coach for 22 years, leading to numerous National Championships.
