DCHS Alumni Game

On Friday, the ninth of November, the Knights play appeared for the first time this season. With Tyler Espie, Nathan Tidwell, the Boyd brothers, George Wright and Jon Middleton among the alumni present, the game looked promising.

The Knights proved not to disappoint.

The game was close until the end, the score leaving the Knights down 5 at halftime. The Knights came out with a determination in the second half. With a difficult press and stiff man-to-man, the Knights kept the game within reach. Andrew Smith came out of the game with two minutes remaining in the 4th quarter due to a dislocated finger he incurred five minutes prior to his exit, which was promptly reset by his nurse mother. Yes, it is as manly as it sounds.

Regardless, the Knights were unable to pull out the victory, losing the game 74-66. The Knights play Furtah Prep on the subsequent Tuesday at Furtah. The prior season, The Knights defeated Furtah in a 30-point win in both meetings. The game begins at 4:30 with JV Boys starting the day. Being less than 15 minutes away, we hope to see you there.
