Dominion vs. Mt. Vernon

This past Tuesday the Dominion Knights played a intense game against the Mt. Vernon mustangs. However, Dominion's Knights were unsuccessful with coming up with the victory but played hard nevertheless. The score was 60-52, the Knights tried so hard and got so far but, in the end it didn't even matter. Free throws was the obvious determining factor of this premire region game for the Dominion Knights. The varsity boys maintained a steady lead from the beginning of the second quater all the way to the last two minutes in the fourth. The mustangs then in the last critical moments of the game, began to chip away at Dominion's morale along with their defense. After a few quick steals the game went from close to out of reach in the final 30 seconds. The Knights fought hard throughout the game but a slight underestamation left us with a loss. The Dominion boys will learn from this and continue to play with confidence in their next game against Dustin Ware (aka North Cobb Christian).
