12/17/07 Another Second Time Victory The Lady Knights basketball team started strong for the 2006-07 campaign. The girls had their pre-season game against Trinity Chapel Academy winning 28-21. Senior point guard Virginia Hatchett was the high scorer with 15 points. Sophomore center Lindsay Kate Hines had a strong game bringing down 17 rebounds. Coach Isaac said " Up 13-3 at the end of the first quarter. Then we couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. Missing 15 uncontested layups. Although the win was way too close for comfort Knights will take a win to start the season." The Lady Knights hope to improve upon this game against Furtah next Tuesday. |
