Strong Finish at States

The Dominion Lady Knights traveled to First Presbyterian Day School (FPD) in Macon, GA on Wednesday, February 20 for the first round of the state tournament. Unfortunately, the final score was 61 FPD, 27 Dominion. But in the midst of the defeat, the Lady Knights played better than ever before.

Dominion played the top ranked team in the state and put up a good fight. Among the top scorers were Briana Mateo with 8 points and Lindsay Kate Hines with 8 points as well. The rop rebounder was Lindsay Kate with 10 rebounds. The top players were Briana Mateo and Lindsay Kate Hines.

Coach Isaac said this about the game: "The girls fought hard and never quit. The season ended with a loss, but they posted a 15 win season.The 2nd best in school history." The Lady Knights finished with a 7-3 region record and a 15-12 overall record.
