This past Tuesday, the Lady Knights went up against the 2nd place team in the region. Losing only one game to a team which the Knights had lost to only a few days earlier, NCC is nonetheless a consistent powerhouse. The game got off to an unpreferred start for the Knights. North Cobb broke off the game into a 3-0 start with 10 shots on goal in the first half. The Knights had scored no goals and had no shots on goal in the first. The second half ended quite similarly. NCC went up to 18 shots on goal in their 7-0 win, keeping the Knights scoreless and with only 5 shots on goal. Katie Altamarri, who is now taking the place of an injured Katie Taylor put up the best defense as is possible for a former striker to play. The Knights begin the decline of the regular season and an incline to the postseason. With only 1 more region game left, they remain 4th behind the Weber School by 1 game. With a tune-up game against a JV ECA team, the Knights look to maximize their season's holdings in preparation for a tough postseason.
