Dominion and Weber
by Aaron Nix
This past weekend, the Knights went off to The Weber School for their second game of the week. Coming off of a 10-0 win against Mt. Vernon just 2 days earlier, the Lady Knights looked to start a streak. These ladies went out on their first away game of the season with something to prove- that they could be consistent and contenders in postseason play. This game was played quite nicely by the underdog Rams. Being the lowest projected in the region, they had something to prove as well. The Rams came out in the beginning playing hard scoring 5 in this game. The game did not go quite as planned for the higher-projected Lady Knights who scored only 1 of which was scored by Junior, Anna Baggett. This game puts Dominion at 3-3 in (1-1 in the region) girls' soccer. The Lady Knights hope to make their comeback in the next day's following game against Sherwood.
