Dominion tennis team opens with a friendly match against Weber

The Dominion tennis team began their season with a quick match against Weber. When the Weber School finally arrived to play Dominion, many fans were anxiously awaiting the outcome of Dominion’s first home match. The Dominion teams started out strong with Katie Hammond and Heather Graham winning their doubles match, and Matthew Jackson and Matthew Keyt also bringing a fresh win to the new courts. There was a lack of boys on the Weber team so Ben Cahoon was the only singles match against Weber. The singles of Sarah Stowell and Charley Clyburn both played well, but lost their matches. Overall, the first tennis match was a win for Dominion.
